Intimate Malibu Elopement on The Beach

Ariel and Jesus’ Malibu elopement on the beach was the perfect example of making the day completely yours! It was very laid back, intimate, and personable, which is exactly what Jesus and Ariel wanted for their wedding day. Malibu was the perfect location for their intimate elopement, and the views that they had for their ceremony, reception, and portraits were breathtaking. As a destination wedding photographer whose based in Texas, the views were a nice change!

Something I especially loved about Ariel and Jesus’ Malibu elopement was that they weren't afraid to break tradition and make their wedding uniquely them. They were my kind of couple! If you’re looking to do unique things on your wedding day, think about what you and your partner would enjoy versus doing things just because they’re traditional.

Ariel and Jesus spent the morning sipping on coffee at Lucky 7 Coffee and writing their vows to one another. It was such a slow and sweet way for them to start the day. They then made their way down to Hermosa Beach where they shared their vows to one another privately. I don’t think there could’ve been a more relaxing way to enjoy the morning of your wedding day than that.

Ariel & Jesus’ Intimate Malibu Elopement & Reception on The Beach

Ariel and Jesus spent the rest of their morning getting ready at Sea Sprite Hotel in Hermosa, and it was truly perfect. They spiced things up a bit by getting ready together which was intimate and such a great way to continue to have those moments together prior to their ceremony and reception. After getting ready, we were headed to their ceremony and reception location, which was in Malibu, but not before stopping to get gas and some photos with their vintage car.

Once we got to Malibu, they had the most intimate cliffside location for their ceremony with ocean views for miles. The reception was perfect, with everyone just sitting in the sand and really enjoying each others company. They even had each person's individual horoscope on place settings! With pizza, Topo Chico, intimate details, and views like that, you just can’t go wrong.
